The Dating Game

SOME OF YOUR MOTHER’S DATING RULES

1)     Be selective, not any bad boy will do.  It’s not the time to play the field.  It’s best to seek a quality relationship instead of a quantity of others.
2)     Get to know the guy first through the Internet before physically engaging.  Don’t expose too much of yourself on your Facebook and/or Twitter page.  Don’t give him access to your IDs or Passwords.
3)     Make a list and constantly add to it. But LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN. Remember, this guy is one half of your relationship. Ask the right questions. Don’t be bashful stating your intentions.
4)     Meet in open neutral places until you move the relationship forward.  Be suspicious.  Always be safe.
5)    Each contact with your suitor is a moment of truth. You need to dig in to his core to see if this is the guy you really want to have a serious relationship with or to spend the rest of your life. Is he child or pet friendly etc.?
6)    Don’t go beyond kissing on your first date
7)    Don’t bring him back to your apartment.  Go to his.  He doesn’t need to know where you live or what you have. Then again, he might never want to leave  
8)    Don’t be too available to him.  Make him work for YOU!
9)    Discuss Covid -19 and how it plays out in your relationship. This is serious talk. It could cost you your life.
10)    Frankly discuss and plan out your sex.
